Violeta Balhas is a freelance writer of short stories, personal essays, and articles. Her first novel was published early in 2002 in the UK, and her first screenplay, Karaoke, is in pre-production. She has also been a writing educator for over 20 years, most recently delivering Professional Writing and Editing at Federation University.
